Prior to establishing keay+summers landscape design inc. in 2016, Karen worked in corporate marketing and advertising, where she provided clients with creative, thoughtful results. Following her passion for all that is gardening, she resumed her studies in Landscape Design at Ryerson University.

Karen’s keen interest in pollinators, native plants and environmental issues, plus her experience with the Leaside Garden Society made a good foundation for adding design education to her skill set. This has led to the creation of many dynamic thoughtful landscapes for keay+summers landscape design clients.
