The challenge: how to effectively mesh the aesthetic of this modern residence with the natural beauty of a ravine property in the middle of a cosmopolitan cityscape. The solution was to front the street side with a linear, contemporary design softened with an array of textures and coloured plantings while allowing attractive additional parking.

The wonderfully expansive backyard provided the canvas for an extensive planting of bee and butterfly-friendly native plants. The stroll to the back gazebo takes in over 30 species and hundreds of perennials, shrubs, and trees! Proof positive that the big city and Mother Nature can co-exist in supportive harmony.
